XMPP Info
I host a simple XMPP instance using Prosody. Currently, the server is a work in progress, and certain features are not supported.
Below items are currently not supported:
- Web Client Login
- Security Labels
- File Uploads
- Video/Audio Chat
- Server-side Bookmarks Conv/Compat/PEP
Clients
If you want to chat with XMPP, here are some recommended clients:
- Windows / Linux / BSD / OSX: gajim, psi+
- Console: Profanity
- Android: Conversations IM
- iOS: Siskin IM
Accounts/Registration
Public registration is also unavailable due to resource restrictions and security purposes.
Accounts are thus given/made by invite only.
If you know somebody who is using my service, you can have them reach out to me and write a referral.
Referrals/invites will generally require the following so that I can reach out and coordinate account creation:
- Full email address
- GPG public key of above email address (if applicable)
